I am 77 years old, been reloading for 60 years, I have 4 presses and I am ordering a new Redding T7.
Please guys, tell me I'm not crazy.
Thanks, Smokeyloads:D

I just got another one myself, and I already had more than you plus the progressive. :what:

Now then, does this make "US" crazy, or are those other people "really" the crazy ones.....hmmm lets think on it like that for a while.:D:D

One of my other hobbies is raising apple trees. On another forum I used to frequent one of the "elder statesmen" was known to be in his early nineties. He was discussing planting new trees and someone wrote and said something to the effect that "Do you know how old you'll be when those trees get old enough to bear fruit?" He replied, "The same age I'll be if I don't plant the trees I want."

This is a one-way trip. Enjoy the ride! May yours be long and happy.

If you're like me a well designed tool is a seductive magnet. Even if you already have perfectly serviceable gear something even better can be an irresistable draw. Have fun with your new toy!:)

I don't think your crazy at all. Reloading is a really nice hobby that provides a great deal of satisfaction to those of us that enjoy the finer art of shooting. I often just reload for the sake of reloading, why, because I can. Then when I have a hinkering to go shoot, I have all these different load combinations to try, and, or, I have various options for my hunting needs to choose from. I also keep a large variety of self defense rounds that I enjoy switching out.

My Wife doesn't complain about my reloading, my Son's rely greatly on me to keep them well stocked for their shooting and hunting needs, and some close friends of the family as well.

I also have multiple presses and when someone comes along that wants to learn the hobby I just set up another press and take them through it one step at a time until they and I have become comfortable with the process. as a matter of fact, I have a new student that will be taking my class this next week, or as soon as we can find the components to get him going.

Somewhat has to say it...... You are most definitely crazy!! I'll help you with your illness though. When that new press arrives you just send it to me and that'll be the first step in your therapy :)

Why does somebody NEED five reloading presses? Aren't you an effective enough killing machine with just one? Why do you want to make your own ammo anyway? So you can make deadlier bullets and kill more efficiently?

You're definitely crazy, and you should be declared mentally ineligible to own firearms.

Sarcasm filter off. Enjoy the new press, and long may you load on it!

77 years old loading 60 of those and just now adding the 4th press? You sir are actually quite reserved and exert self control of monumental proportion. I am 49 been loading for 36 years and have more than you. I am like a raccoon when he sees something shiny. Gotta have my loading bling.

Hmmm.... If I get rid of one press every year I may get down to 4 by the time I am your age. Naaa, I think I will just keep the pedal to the metal for a while!

PS. Nothing wrong with you, I enjoy reloading and tinkering with the hardware as much as shooting. Hope I am still around to be doing it for a long time. Enjoy!

I am currently 30 and have been loading for only two years. I can only HOPE that I will live to be 77, even better to still be shooting and reloading! Heck, in the current political climate I hope to be reloading through the next four years.

Have fun with that turret press! I am a huge fanof their dies and have my eye on the Big Boss II.

Yup, you're plum crazy! And you should immediately send that new T7 press to my address to prevent any further craziness! ;) :D

Congrats on the new press!! I hear great things about that one.
