Sniper - which plan are you referring to? The double stack Para or the AR pistol-to-SBR

Olympus - I figured that if funds allowed that you would want to do both. :D

The double stack Para would fit the bill for .45 and you already have .45 ammo/components. Only thing to consider there would be if you feel it is comfortable (some with smaller hands might not like a double stack 45).

The AR pistol with an option to SBR would fit into what you have (a consecutive serial numbered AR lower). Plus if you go the SBR route then you could use other short barreled uppers in the future (if you want to go with different calibers).

Now if you want a 9mm pistol - I still recommend a Browning Hi-Power.

I know it doesn't make the decision any easier, but hopefully funds allow for more than one option. :)

Hi cap 9mm...

Modern: Walther PPQ or HKP30 Lite LEM

Classic: Hi Power

We've got all three and the favorite is the one we are currently shooting.

Let me take you into a new dimension...

What is that?? The Calico tactical pistol, 50 or 100 round mags of 9mm get off my lawn.

If you absolutely, positively, have to kill every gang-banger in the neighborhood,
accept no substitutes!!

A p220 or p227 both under a grand...

9mm a CZ P-09 19+1 of 9mm goodness.

A AR pistol that's going to be a SBR isn't a pistol...it's a stopgap for a 9mo stamp wait. You'll just end up needing a good 45 or 9mm still.
