Hey THR...

First off - HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all applicable.

Saturday was spent working and finished on my newest Black rifle assembly (I still have two stripped lowers that I have to create with on top of that) and then I assembled 200 rounds of 357 low velocity with Trail Boss and 125 LRNFP's. Then I assembled 500 rounds of 45ACP with N320 and Zero's...

Today, I woke up late (8:30 am) and had waffles in bed thanks to my wife and son.

Since I made plans with my Dad for early dinner at Joe's Crab Shack @ 1530 hours, I have a bit of time.

I could either -

1. Go to Angeles shooting range about 45 minutes away and shoot my newly assembled AR-15 since it is outdoor range and then shoot up the 357 mag (125 LRNFP's).

OR

2. Go Surfing for a couple of hours and then go to the indoor range about 10 minutes away and shoot up some 45 ACP ammo through my favorite 1911's.

What to do???

My father has long passed. Waiting for my 4 sons and one daughter to pick me up for dinner as soon as they can come from Washington, california, Virginia and Georgia...Hummm...Guess I'll just go out and weed the garden..........

Dude, surfs up! Seriously, if I still had the chpoice of going to a dried out foothill range or the beach and then an indoor range, well no choice really.

The wife and I are leaving in 2 hours to meet the oldest daughter and her family for dinner at a nice Chinese place I like.

Took myself and my .308 and my .30-06 to the range this A.M. Beautiful morning, deserted range, scrounged some .243 and ,45ACP brass. Shot 100 rounds. Had a steak for lunch at Texas Road House. Now I'm going to take a nap. Later, some recreational activities with the boss-lady. Life is good.:D

It's 98 degrees here. It has cooled down since 1:00 PM

Played a double header yesterday in it. I am staying indoors as much as possible today. Not even surfing sounds cool right now. I did get out to the gunshow. My boy slept so late he didn't go. I almost woke him up, but he's grouchy when he over sleeps.

I am like The Bushmaster. My dad passed some time back, and my kids aren't planning anything...............maybe I'll help him weed the garden. :)

Youngest son gave me a gift card to Amazon before leaving town on vacation yesterday and eldest came by this morning bearing a few other gifts. As for me, still a bit gimpy from an accident, so aint done anything and aint gonna do anything today. Talked to my Dad yesterday whose 89th birthday is Tuesday. We will take him a nice lunch and presents for both Father's Day and birthday then.:)

My 17yr old daughter is in Ukraine on a mission trip. I was awaiting a call from her but wound up missing both my cell and home phone calls from her. :mad:After returning home from church, the mrs and #2 daughter and myself spent alot of time outside swimming, cooking and enjoying the hot weather we have been having and somewhere we didnt not hear the phones. I did cherish her VM though and all in all it was another glorious day here in South Texas.:) Oh, and I am using a puter in my reloading room to type this so I guess it's ok in the reloading forum.:D

My wife bought me a new bbq grill, and then helped me assemble it yesterday afternoon. Then I got to grill T-bones for us and seven other family members, including her dad. (P.S. - The new grill works great!)

That wife of mine... anything to get out of the kitchen...
