My german built in 1942 double barrel sidebyside shotgun had a broken safety spring. I found a 1900 remington shotgun spring on ebay that looked similsr. But when i got it. It was too long. So i had to bend it slightly and chizzle some wood out of the stock to accommodate it but in the end it worked out great.
Have you cjecked ebay ? There are people on there posting everything from bolts to tiny screws from various guns.. im sure you can find something
If you could rent or borrow one of those magnets that roofers use to roll around the yard and pick up dropped nails that would be perfect!
if that doesn't work out you could buy a complete parts kit for about $200 ... well, its actually a complete gun but you would have all the parts!
I'd put the best parts of each together to make a complete gun and the other a wall hanger.
About 10 years ago I bought a leather scabbard for a Romanian M69 trainer, its very nice and was cheap ... I was sure I could put some other 22 rifle in it but nothing really fits, now that you've brought it to mind, maybe I'll just buy a M69 trainer!
