Russians aren't imported anymore either. They were also the original SKS.
I think generally most folks will pay more for a Russian than a Norinco.

I went to a site called www.hk94 and there was the same sks with all the accessories from the Tula arsenal. The sling pictured is exactly like the one that came on mine. I figured it was just some old sling someone had stuck on it, but after seeing it on the web site, I looked closer and it has printing on it but it is faded and hard to make out.

Yes, that sling is a Russian SKS/AK sling.
