What were the limits on weapons during the framers' time?

    People could own anything they could afford until 1934.

    Concealed carry was illegal in many states until rather recently. Laws banning concealed carry were passed in various states from 1813 to 1859.

    Indeed, they could own anything they could get hold of, from muskets to cannons.

    I'm still trying to figure out where in the Second amendment it says anything about what I arms cannot own.
