    I used to hunt chucks here in the North East. They are gone now!
    It's said that the coyotes that have come back have got them!

    I really miss that chuck hunting!
    Do you see any chucks where you are?

    How about this; get some Nosler 35 grain ballistic tip Varmageddon bullets, load them starting with about 20.4 grains of IMR-4198 (starting load per Hodgdon's online database) for about 3,600 feet per second and if they don't come apart halfway to the target, well the little critters will be dead before they hear the sound.

    Maybe not. I've been working on getting a suitable load developed for my 5.7mm Johnson carbine for more than 20 years and I'm still not satisfied with the results I'm getting.
