What would be your "ideal" competition handgun?

I didn't necessarily say Glock...just something with Glock reliability. And since we're on the subject, something with a low bore axis, which is why SIGs are no bueno.

Capacity too low
OP Here. This is what I shoot now. P7. Capacity is OK for IDPA. But there is P7M13 ($$$$)

Problem with them - sight radius. I also noticed I have problem gripping it just right because of squeeze cocker. Otherwise - great pistol

CZ75 Custom Shadow, (not the SPO1 & has no tac rail, comes with Comp Hammer and Spring changes + polishing etc)
add: short reset disconnector, Competition Hajo rear and FO front sights, tune trigger to 3# SA & 6# DA trigger pull.

It shoots well, but I don't have the Short Reset Disco. .

M&P9 Pro, XDM9 (duo-tone), and possibly Glock34.

I've done IDPA with a standard M&P9 and Tac-3Gun with a Glock19; both worked well and I imagine the longer-slide and competition oriented pistols would work even better.

If $$ was no object I'd like to try a H&K USP45 Tractical or a nice Sig1911.
