    Killing is bad.

    Dude, it was a joke!!!

You really think I'd be around here if I thought that way??? :neener:

Hell, I got pics at home (I'll post later if ya want...) of a deer that went through a guy's windshield, spilling its guts all over. Sorta cool in a "slow-down-to-see-the-accident" sorta way... :scrutiny: :uhoh:

    DING DING DING!!!!

    Dave's a winner!!!

Ok, to seriously address the topic of the thread (methinks we've wandered far enough...) people are stupid.

They think hunting is stupid. So do I, actually, unless you eat it. If you kill just to have a neato, blood-stained photo, THEN I've got a big problem with you.

I give sasnofear, where does it say you can't have pics with blood in them in The Hunt? I probably missed it somewhere, but I searched and could find no reference. Did you get a PM or something?

You're right, of course, blood in hunting is just a part of the game, so to speak.

if someone complains about that, then its quite sad! not being a gore freak here or anything but it is interesting to see different rounds effects on prey exit holes etc. its part and parcel of hunting! see if some things are to much or to little gun.

Is there a separate Durango hunting season in Minnesota? Do you need a special tag or does your standard hunting license cover it? Must be awfully hard to aim that thing, but that driver was a damn good shot! :D

sasnofear - Are you ignoring my question (about 20 minutes ago)? I really am interested in what made you start this thread.

The article that I read on this mishap stated the deer was running over an overpass when it was spooked by another vehicle and in it's panic it jump over the side of the over pass onto the Durango. Probably a 14 foot fall. The head and neck probably hit the roof and the body weight momentum probably carried it into the cab - no passengers and no one was injured.

wow... that is a crazy sight... if no passengers were injured I imagine there was no one present in the front passenger seat.

Picture driving down the freeway and hitting a falling dear. whoa!
