Has there been an Assault Weapon murder committed since the AWB was killed?

I get the LA news as well as cable news and I know I haven't heard of anything bad, has anyone heard of any AW shootings?

They kept saying blood would be running in the streets if the AWB was done away with, this doesn't seem to be happening.

How about Alaska? Any news from there since they became 2 A compliant?

Do you think that we can use this as an argument for looser gun laws?

Its boring up here. no problems..I carry my Custom Browning High Power IWB with two extra mags off side (both are 25 rounders), a Rohrbaugh R9S for right pocket backup, Seecamp 32 for left pocket backup, Surefire Luma Max with double side head hooked up to a car battery that I wear in a shouldrer bag, Colt Defender in an ankle holster, Benchmade Tactical Elite Seal Operator folder on strong side with Cold Steel Kukri on weak side and Swiss army knife in pocket. Car gun is an M249 SAW in a window mount.

Haven had much trouble, then again, I can barely get ou of my house I have so much gear.

Wild Alaska: ROFL. That is great.

I put the Jeep in 4wd morning after the sunset...left a few hours early for work. I was expecting to have to off-road it over the bodies and machines guns flooding the streets around town.

About the only affect of the sunset I've seen is everyone calling for boycotts because Such and Such is out of Glock mags...

I went into my Armory on the 14TH and unfortunately my two Saigas had gotten into the liquour cabinet, they had the half gallon of Stolichnaya out, they had taped tin cans to their muzzles, and strapped steak knives to their front sights, and they were taking turns gang banging my sar-1. My two ARs and my Ruger 10-22 were passed out in the corner where they had been wallowing in gun oil and .223 ammo.

It was quite a mess.

Needless to say I bought trigger locks for the lot of them, and put a lock on the liquour cabinet.

When I was done I went outside and paddled my canoe out into the river of innocent blood running down the street and I snagged a couple of full auto Uzis and an antiaircraft gun that was floating by.

Other than that its been quiet in my neck of the woods.

:scrutiny:

All that's really happened as far as I can tell is that everyone seems to be backordered on $11 30 round AR-15 mags and you can get LEO Colts for $400 above MSRP.

There is still an AWB here in New Jersey. And of course the usual suspects are printing articles in the news about how the police are afraid people will take weapons from other states into New Jersey.

As far as I can tell, no one willingly goes FROM another state TO New Jersey.

Rivers of blood in the streets, don't you know.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of bodies of people shot to death with assault weapons lying unburied.

More people dying every minute than during the height of the Black Death in Europe.

On a positive note, if thinks keep going like this, traffic in Northern Virginia is going to get a lot better really fast.

I have more mags than I can count, unfortunately they all say Colt or Bushmaster rather than surplus or knock off :)

If your delaer is doing that to you...fire him

I'm wearing my waders so I can cross the street with all the blood flowing through it.

I was thinking about buying some of those "AK47s and UZIs" I keep hearing about, but since the streets are "flooded" with them, I could save a lot of money and jay walk at the same time.

Shoe store robbed; woman being held
Richmond Times-Dispatch
Monday, October 4, 2004

A woman armed with a Tech 9 pistol held up a West Broad Street shoe store in Henrico County yesterday, police said.

Within moments after the 12:50 p.m. holdup at Shoe Show, 7515 W. Broad St., police took a suspect into custody and recovered a Tech 9 pistol and money believed taken in the robbery, police Lt. T.C. Melton said.

He said two police officers heading to Merchants Walk shopping center, where the robbery took place, spotted the suspect in a red Ford Escort in a parking lot at Wistar and Staples Mill road.

The shoe-store robber had fled in a red Escort that had been parked in a fire lane outside the store during the robbery, he said.

The suspect, 23, a resident of eastern Henrico, was taken into custody without incident, Melton said. He said she will be charged in the robbery.

In addition, according to last night's tv news, there were 3 street robberies one right after the other not too far from me. The guy was described as using an Uzi or somesuch little 'machinegun pistol'.

The only difference I've noted is the activity in my bank account as I make up for ten years of want. ;)

Kerry was quoted last night as saying that now criminals can get evil guns at gun shows whereas before, they couldn't.

He can't be that stupid. So he's just a liar.

No blood to report in NC. No drive by bayonetings. No full auto holdups.

I asked my local gun shop what the body count was and was told it was zero. There was a white haired grandmother type in the store at the time and I though she would fall over laughing.

They sent the refrigerator trailer back to the rental outfit. No need for it.

I dunno. the pols all promised that there would be Uzi's and AK's in the street if the ban expired. I went out the next morning and looked for them and I didnt see a one. Now Im gonna complain.
