Caught this buck on the same camera three times in five days in August. Haven't seen him in the past few weeks. This is a big rack for the area I hunt. Zero agriculture and lots of hunters means bucks with very big racks are uncommon.

That’s a nice buck anywhere. Bigger than anything I have on camera so far. This guy showed up exactly one time and he’s not as nice as the deer you posted. B6EEF1FB-6BE7-4287-AC2A-20558AADDDAE.jpeg

Here's a small 5 point that I have a bunch of pics of. One blurry pic of a big buck for our area. The hawk is one of the best pics I have gotten. I truly think this is a massive bear. Maybe we can catch up in bear season!

I pulled cards yesterday and had lots of does and bambis on all three cameras. Had several bucks but only one cull that I would take. He is a three year old 7 pt with 1 brow tine. I don't want those genes to get started although he has undoubtedly already passed them on. It is time to get serious with him.

The land owner has seen a 150-160 class buck a few times but I have yet to see him on camera.

This is what I see on camera. Only one dinky 8 point deer and several of these %$^&*.

Getting a few small bucks showing up....think the big ones are still in the unpicked corn and moving at night.

Beware of falling trees....came across a good sized downed tree that broke off about 10' up, fell on trail blocking access, rotten in center. Cut it up with chain saw yesterday. Checking cameras and found the time it fell. Look closely at the upper right hand side of top photo, middle photo shows leaf movement, bottom photo shows broken trunk laying on ground.

    Not for everyone!!! Hahaha! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    I couldn't resist...:neener:

I haven't put my cameras out yet, but we have had a doe and twins hanging out all summer in the little creek bottom that runs between our house and my parents place.
About 2wks ago I saw a mature bobcat cross the road ¾mile east of my house. I would like to have a pic of him.
You guys have inspired me to put new batteries in the cameras and get them out there.

The farm supply near my tree farm has gone up to $12.50 / 50# of shelled corn. Now I buy it at Walmart for $9.46/bag. It has more trash in it but $12.50 is robbery.

Not much on the cameras lately. Buck sightings are way down and does are mostly seen at night. Swapped SD cards on cams on my friends property this afternoon and only had one daylight buck picture. This guy came cruising by at 12:51 PM last Friday... WGI_3509.JPG ..Then this morning I saw this one out behind my neighbors and grabbed the Canon Rebel with telephoto lens on it..... Didn't get him on a trail cam but at least I got another daylight shot of a buck. IMG_2719.JPG ...

I pulled #1 sons card from most of last winter until the batteries pooped out in about February. 1200 pics of leaves and wind and sunset and tons of does and scrawny bucks. This is just one of many "lick the camera" deer pictures 20211003_225502.jpg

Last year a goof posted the pic on the internet, a trail cam on public land and caught a pic of a 12 pointer giant buck at night. Within 24 hours, the public hunting area looked like a Green Bay Packer game just for bow hunters. And guess what, no one got a thing. Locals call him Old Moss Back. I think Da Yoopers referred to that deer as they sang, 30 below and wind at 45 and when it began to snow as I walked to the truck, I saw da 30 point buck.

I'll leave it up to the forum experts......does the buck in the foreground (last photo) physically dwarf the one behind it or is it a result of the deer just being closer to the camera?

Love seeing all the trail pics of animals.
Arizona just made it illegal. Another stupid law. I hope I misread the article.

It's a known fact that when you're fishing, come picture time you always hold the fish out in front of you, which magically increases the size. lol
