What am I missing about Blackorn 209 that should make it worth $110+ / lb ?

I stocked up last year on Pyrodex RS and Blackhorn, so I haven't been paying much attention to prices until today. Local Wal-mart and an LGS that usually has lower prices both have Pyrodex RS for about $21/lb, slightly more than last year.
Blackhorn was about $29/10oz last year, $54/8oz this year.
I've used both and Blachorn is a little cleaner, but I don't see where it is deserving of that price, what am I missing?

Supposed to be much more energetic than any other substitute powder. Like pushing a 300 grain bullet at 1700 fps… for inlines using 209 primers only

It will take a traumatic head injury for me to use it at the prices they want for it so I didn’t buy any.

Yep, just inlines though. I'm not a true BP enthusiast, it's an extra two weeks of deer hunting for me. But I still use loose powder instead of pellets.

I stocked up on 777 and PP also, but RS ignites the best for me with standard 209s.

Yep, one of these days when I'm not working 50+ hrs a week and mini farming on the side, I might actually do that.
