Whats the differance

    Can someone explain to me the differance between a S&W 686 and the 686 plus, other then the cost...

    686 is a six-shooter.
    686+ is a seven-shooter.

    Unless you intend to use the revolver for shooting games built around six-shot fire strings, I can see no down side to an extra round.

    That, and Safariland still doesn't make speedloaders for the 7 shooter, as far as I know anyway. The plus costs a tad more too, $30-50 or so IIRC.
