What's the most uncommon cartridge you load for?

Not now but,

Two years ago I got wild and bought a T/C Contender pistol in 7mm TCU. Very interesting gun. You take 223, neck it up to 7mm and you have to be very careful to not change the headspace. Oh yeah. I almost forgot, you need to use the softest primers you can find. Federal and Winchester worked well. CCI not so much. I sold the gun and if I were to do it over I would pick a 7-30 Waters, but the TCU is an experience.

Hell, .45Colt's practically grow on trees!

Probably .32-20, .38-40, .405WCF, .416Rigby or .44Colt. Although I don't consider anything you can buy brass for to be obscure.

Probably .30-40 Krag (.30US) or .41 Rem Mag. I also load 9x18 Mak which isn't real uncommon but relatively uncommon to load for.

9x25. Not the rarest, and factory ammo exists.

.41Magnum. Not that rare but ammo is expensive!

6.8SPC? 7.62x25? 10mm? I dunno, some "gun" buddies say I have a bunch of "weird calibers", but I'm pretty sedate in that department. Relatively speaking.

Don't think there's anything uncommon about the 45 colt...Have 3 of em..
But the list of stuff I load for that you don't find on dealers gun racks or shelves would include 32-40,40-70 sharps straight, 44-90 rem st, 44-77 sharps bn, and 43 egyptian.
Little more common, would be the 32 and 38 wcf, 405 winchester, 50-70, 40-65 and 45 2.4.

357 Remington Maximum.

Plumrotten do you REALLY load for that baby? When i first read the name I thought that it was a joke. Soon learned that it was not. Enjoy it. It is the fastest round I know of.

No, but it's fun to type and even more to say out loud. I only reload normal stuff!

.276 Pedersen...

My grandfather was involved in field testing the Pedersen rifle in the late-1920's. Until you mentioned it, I had almost forgotten the stories about the conduct of those tests he told me when I was a child.

AT last count I load for one hundred and thirty five cartridges, including the 356TSW and the 9X23
HOW can you possibly note the 45COLT in the question ? Its as common as fleas on a hound dog ?
And so it goes...

38-40 and it's kind of a pain in the rear.
7.62 Nagant is a fun one since the bullet is completely inside the brass and the mouth is crimped over the bullet.
32 S&W and 38 S&W are kind of uncommon also.
