What's the most uncommon cartridge you load for?

Starting to load 7.35 Carcano. Trying to find ammo for my M38 is one of the reasons I got into reloading

I'm not sure what you are asking. I know the creator of this caliber pretty well. and he has said more than once that when the barrels that people have ordered directly through him and another online source there will be 49 barrels that have been made and sold.
I'm not saying you are wrong, but... anyone can order a custom bbl. from a bbl mfg., and have a reamer made to what ever specs they like.

With THAT in hand, you can chamber the bbl. and have a cartridge that's not accounted for, I've done it myself...

For instance, I had a custom bbl. made in .338", and had Clymer make a reamer to MY specs., now, I believe that "I" have the only .338 RDS (designed by me) in existence....but...some one else may have one too and I wouldn't know about it??

Anyone else wonder as I do why we need so many calibers and even variations of a caliber? .308, .243, .260, .7mm-08, .22-243.....ZZZZZZZ

Wow! Into page 6 and never saw my one and only.
7.62x40WT. .223 or 5.56 brass cut down to 40mm with a 110-150 gr. .308 bullet. Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat did a lot of load developement and sells the dies, barrels, and brass on his store's website. Very similar to 300 Blackout, but smaller bullets going way faster. Deadly on pigs and deer. AR platform, only changes from a typical AR build is barrel and magazines. Uses standard bcg.

I had considered building an AR chambered in that.

I would actually like to see the list of every cartridge people load for and line them all up. Judging by this thread, I doubt there are many chamberings not covered by this group! I'll bet this group could assemble one hell of a lot of reloading knowledge!

500 s&w magnum- not super uncommon but not something you are going to find on the shelf at your local walmart.

I have really been wanting to buy an old martini henry to work on restoring and load the 577/450 martini henry with blackpowder.

Jaysouth- that 30 badger looks like a cool cartridge. I have ran a 357 case up into my 300blk die just for giggles thinking it would be a cool cartridge to load.
