10mm is not legal in some states and they must have a good reason... "right?"
but my next gun purchase was made today matter a fact. i bought a remington 700 sps in 30-06 with a scope and slip i got the gun and scope new at a local outdoor store in achorage for a little under $400 so i am really happy i have already robed the bi-pod off my m4 and placed on my new "lil" hunting rifle.

Most likely either a 1911a of some sort in .45ACP or a .357 lever gun like a Marlin 1894c.

    Hrm!

You know ... Usually I'd answer that one with a flurry of models and the like, but I can't right now.

As is my next project is not a new gun. I am saving up for reloading equipment or in lieu of that a .22 conversion for my Glock 26.

It's kind of odd, to be honest to not jones after a new gun for once. :what:

    Nushif, are you okay? :)

Just kidding, I think reloading equipment is pretty equal to purchasing a gun. Someday I'll get into reloading, but it's looking like retirement will be the only extra allotment of time to give it a go.

Witness .45 of some variation or AK derivative. Heavy lean towards the .45.

I'm thinking I need a bottom feeder.Have not made-up my mind if it's going to be in 45 or 10mm,but I really like the feel/look of a xd bi-tone 45 service model at the local gun shop.

The next gun I want to buy is a Sig P220, but I haven't been able to find one.
    I guess I'll be playing it by ear . . . . . . .

I dunno. Nothing that I've seen recently has intrigued me.

Maybe I'll just start hunting for a better place to shoot, then invest in more practice ammo.

well, I don't know which one

but I do know how it will happen

it will be the one under glass that whispers sweet nothings in my ear
and I walk around the shop, pretending to not notice the voices
and walk on back, and pick it up, and try to look disinterested about it
    and put it back
and walk on out of the shop
and get in my truck and drive around the block
    and come back
and get out of my truck, and walk back in

    game over

Since I just got a part time job (I'm still in college) again, woo-hoo :), I can ponder about my next purchase. Needless to say, I have been pondering quite a bit lately, and think that adding a revolver to my setup would be a good choice.

That said, I would like to get a blued, Ruger GP-100 .357 magnum, in either a 4 or 6 inch variety.

I have too many calibers right now. Inventory is harder and harder to keep track of and keep up with. Reloading is much easier when reloading ten calibers for 40 guns than reloading 40 calibers for 40 guns. So..... if I buy another gun, it'll be in a caliber that I already have.

    I'm partial to a Cooper in 6.5x284.

    Great topic!

I have two different categories of gun wants ...

If you're talking about fairly well-known easy-to-get firearms ... I'd REALLY like to get my hands on a S&W500

However, on the slightly off kilter wants I'd love to get a hold of:

    1. A Full-Sized IWI Jericho 941 in .45ACP

    and / or

    2. An AMT Hardballer .45 Longslide (With that 7" barrel ... YUMMY!:p)

But it is such a friggin hassle in :barf:NJ:barf: to get a handgun because it's a ******-Bag state where you need to jump through hoops to get a permit. Before you say it ... I KNOW I should move ... No money though:banghead: ... if you can finance my move ... or a new gun for me please let me know! :) :D

    Take Care & Be Safe!!!

My plan never really worked out, so, I'll tell you when I bring my next one home.
