Got a K40 which shoots a bit right (3" at 20ft). Tried to tap the Trijicon rear sight, it won't budge. I hear that there may be a trick to dealing with sights like these (pushing in a particular direction only) or that I might need some tool for adjusting it. I'd rather not break the gun or the sights...so open to advice on the topic.

Some early Kahr's had sights so loose, they came off.
Kahr apparently decided to fix the problem permanently, and newer Kahr's have sights so tight, they are almost impossible to move at all. Actually removing the sights is about out of the question.

I'd give a Kahr a call or email and ask their opinion and advice, before I started banging around on a Tritium sight.

Regular Kahr sights will move if you use enough force, but you've got to be very careful not to damage the sight's or to upset the metal and lock them in even tighter.

    Contact Kahr.

Brownells sells a universal sight pusher ,I think it retails around $100.00.

No drift-punch nor hammer on a night sight!

You risk cracking the tube and ruining the sight.:(
