Whats your age group, and what do you carry?

I was reading the over 60 and carrying post and noticed a trend of mostly 1911 and revolvers in that group. It got me to thinking, wonder what other age groups are like?

After voting feel free to tell your age and what exactly you carry. Any explaination is welcome.

This is your MOST carried or primary carry firearm.

I'm 43 I carry a Night hawk Vickers tactical 1911 and back it up with a ruger sp101 .357 magnum.

I am 26 and I have always used some form of polygun as my training and defense tool. Glock 19 to XD to G-23 back to the g-19.

Im 22 and I carry a polymer frame pistol.

I decided that as soon as I start shooting my revolver and if I do well with it, Ill find myself a nice holster and carry that instead.

Until then, Its the polymer.

I'm 45 and voted polymer because I always carry my g21 as primary,but also carry a 442 j frame in my front pocket as bug.

I am 54 years old.

I have owned and carried a variety of revolvers, from J-frames to N-frames. I have owned and carried a variety of polymer framed pistols, from LCP to Kahr to Glocks.

These days I carry a Commander-sized steel 1911 in the three seasons we call Getting Hot, Really Hot and Thank God It's Trying To Cool Off a Little. Yes, I live in TX.

During that season we call "Winter", defined as "any time I can wear a sweatshirt or jacket/coat" I carry a 4" N-frame.

At 40, I carry a j-frame. That has worked for me for a while. However, I intend on carrying a small auto. I'm just waiting on the right one. I think the HK p2000sk v3 might be it. It's the only one that I have been impressed with on MY terms. (I like hammers and sa/da).

I carried a revolver for a little while. Now I carry a modern polymer gun.

My math tells me i should expect to get my license in sept. So, right now its just a p. Frame, by then its very possible i will carry both the p. Frame and a revolver... Or maybe just a revolver...?

28. These days I carry a 1911, but my usual carry has usually been a non 1911 metal compact.
Not sure what that falls under.

Can't carry outside of my home in my state of residence, but if my legislators ever get their act together and go shall-issue, I'm either carrying a Glock 17 or a Ruger LCR.

What about an option for those of us who are under 21 but carry? There are several states that issue licenses to those under 21 and several more that let those under 21 carry if they're a licensed non-resident.

62 and there's ALWAYS a 1911 very close to me!! And 6 mags, 2 of them are 10 rounders. Plus 2 50 rnd boxes of ammo in the truck and 500 rounds in the house.
