22yo, typical EDC 438, on days I feel like showing off or want to wear my bigger pants, M&P40.

disclaimer: showing off at family/friendly get togethers, not brandishing.

I'm 44 and carry (primarily) a SIG P229. I guess that's modern, but definitely not polymer.

29 and carry several different guns, depending on my attire and my mood. It might be my P3AT, maybe my S&W CS-45, perhaps my Charter Bulldog .44. The PF-9, Witness Compact 10mm and S&W 4516-1 get their rotation, too, as well as others from time to time.

I have no real loyalty. Steel, alloy, polymer, revolver, auto, double action, double action only, single action. I carry them all.

26, either a Commander or snubbie for edc, more often then not the snub in a pocket/or ankle b/c I'm to lazy to put a holster on then worry about keeping it covered the rest of the day...

After carrying many types for many years, I've settled on a Glock. There are several reasons why, but the reason most people would never guess is this: Every gun I've ever owned needed work done at some point to repair or replace something. The Glock is one pistol that I can continue to service entirely on my own. As long as I keep a good stock of spare parts, there's not much that can go wrong that I won't be able to fix myself. It is a comfort to me to be that intimately familiar with, and confident in, the pistol I carry.

I voted 21/1911... I'm 20, but when I'm 21 I'm buying a Sig P220, and it's pretty close to a 1911.

Dangit! I voted "21-29 and carry a 1911/HP style firearm"

I have carried a 5" 1911 for years, but turned 30 almost two weeks ago...

I am a month shy of 62 and I usually carry either a S&W J-Frame or Walther PK380. I voted 50+ and revolver because the J-Frame gets a little more carry time.

Really Ancient (over 50)

Carry 1911 Gov't mostly. Just comfortable with it.

I primarily carry it chambered for .45 ACP but I sometimes carry 10mm.

I fall into all three categories for my age group but went with the one I carry the most. CZ Rami alloy 9mm.

I do spend some time with a S&W 19 or LCP. It just depends on where I'm going to be and how I'm dressed.

I'm 74 and currently carry a Keltec .380. Until recently I carried a .357 snubnose revolver and alternated it with a .380 (yes a .380) commercially manufactured Russian Makarov. But the .357 was too large and heavy for extended carry in street clothes, and the .380 Mak is not powerful enough FOR IT'S SIZE AND WEIGHT. But the 5 inch, 9 ounce Keltec .380 is a reasonably good compromise IMHO.

Just turned 62 a week ago. I carry all three. Kimber CDP .45ACP 60%, SIG P250 9mm 20% and S&W 642 .38SPL 20%.

Iam 56 and carry S&W M&P 357 REVOLVER,S&W 627 8 shot revolver, H&K P-2000, H&K P-30 and I can't make my mind up between a Kimber super ultra hd or super carry pro, one has 8 mag. and the hd 7 mag. but s.s. frame feels good in my hand. I thought the alum. 8 shot was it, but can't maje up my mind. Any input would help.

I was born some months before the Korean War was officially declared and have carried a Sig P239, S&W Airweight, Colt Official Police and a (gasp) Norinco 1911A1. For all day carry I prefer the Sig or S&W in their OT Don Hume holsters. Four completely different weapons but every one of them are reliable and accurate.

I'm 32 and carry a Colt cobra with the shrouded barrel and bobbed hammer made in '74. I carry it in a Dale frikel archangel kydex IWB holster in the appendix position.,it's loaded with Speer 135gr +P Gold dots.
