i am starting a small company we are producing and selling replica movie holsters and i was just wondering what your favorite ones were so we could build our product line

so far were working on:
the 6gun holster vest from boon dock saints
Laura crofts holsters from tomb raider
the holster from paladin
the back holster from face off
the shoulder blade holster from aeon flux
the shotgun hoster from road warrior
and a couple holsters from the movie tombstone

anyone got any other favorites??

The double rig from Face Off is very nice - lotsa back damage if he fell back on them though!

Loved the Road Warriors' rig, would be nice to hook that up with one of those blackpowder howdah pistols, for the crowd that doesn't want to spend the time/money for an AOW.

The face off rig is a classic, even if the movie was a stinker.

The Resident Evil rig as worn by Milla Jovavich is awesome as well, sorta like the Laura Croft rigs.

Denzel's double shoulder rig from Training Day is a nice one too.

Tombstone has a few nice crossdraw rigs like the ones worn by Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo. Doc also had a nice shoulder rig when he said the "I'll be your huckleberry" line. Virgil's high-ride rig when he was releasing Ike Clanton is cool too.

The Robocop holster is the best though, but I don't know how you are going to make a built-in thigh holster.

1) a "John Smith" rig from "Last Man Standing"

2) the cross draw rig Charlie Prince used in "3:10 to Yuma." Nice....

3) From Tombstone, especially the "Doc Holliday" rig. EPS makes a version of it. Very nice... I see "notorious" has already mentioned it.

PS - how come no one makes "Hand of God" grips like Ben Wade carried in 3:10? I thought they were awfully cool. I have hunted and hunted but found no one making them. (basic black rubber SAA grips with a gold cross inletted). I'd buy them in a heart beat for a few different guns.

the one bad girl from transporter 2, she has twin glock 18's with lasers and suppressors, and a double shoulder holster. But the coolest part about it was the way she reloaded. Or was that tomb raider. I dunno but it was still cool

Galco Executive Shoulder Holster
The Galco Executive is James Bond's shoulder holster in the movies GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World Is Not Enough. Only made for a small number of guns, it is a very nice, well made holster. I gave one to my brother and he loves it.

The ones that stand out to me are the rigs they use in "The Quick and the Dead." I also liked the ones used in "Unforgiven." The rigs they used in "Appaloosa" were also cool.

Galco makes good stuff but try the Mitch Rosen or Kramer horsehide holsters. Personally, shoulder holsters are hard to use in warm climates like SoCal unless you like wearing a jacket all day or you are used to having 2 layers.

Those are two fine holsters, but neither of those has the same holster type as the Galco. That is the particular allure of the Executive IMHO, that and it's lightweight.

I liked the holster that John Clark in "The Sum of All Fears" used. Maybe I just liked his tactics but his M1911A1 looked really nice in his holster.

I always wanted a shoulder holster like Bond's in Goldfinger although there is nothing on the holster to secure the pistol. I just liked the simplicity of the holster and it didn't look too bulky.

Nick Nolte's shoulder holster in 48 Hrs.

After the bad guy, played by James Remar, gets away with Nolte's 4" S&W N-Frame Model 29, Nolte goes back to the station and picks up a 5" 1911 as a replacement. Amazingly, the 1911 fits perfectly in the same holster he used for the Model 29. That is one versatile holster.
