for feel in my hand, the 6" Ruger Security Six

For smoothness and accuracy, a 4" King Cobra

S&W 629 classic in 44 mag w/ 6" barrel. I like the classic because of the full under-lug which also adds a little extra weight and reduces felt recoil. Very fun to shoot and a devastating weapon. Second choice is S&W 460 VXR w/ 8 3/8" ported barrel (just make sure you have hearing protection!)

Colt Python 6" Ultimate Stainless (Jinx!)

Possibly the most badass revolver in the history of man, did have some issues with cylinder alignment once, but that was a long time ago. Gave me 15 years of good service, tens of thousands of rounds put through it, but still works an absolute treat, with regualr cleaning. But the best thing is when young blokes come up to me at the range and ask to fire it, best feeling ever. I will be buried with my Python.

My favorite is probably my 6 inch K38 5-screw, but this one is a close second, just because it's weird.

Well, I own three. A gp100, a sp101, and a nagant. Obviously the nagant is out. Between the gp100 and sp101, I guess I favor the sp101 because I can carry it and because it's a blast at the range. I have no intention of getting rid of either, ever.

That would have to be my S&W Model 681. Everything you need and nothing you don't. DA slick as glass. If I had to fight with a revolver, this would be my choice.

That is just an impossible question..!

Lol...

But, if I had to pick one, for daily carry and live with for all matter of unknown futures...

S & W Model 58, with a Bobbed Hammer....would likely be the one.

And, a Tong Tool, 310 Dies, and some Molds to allw some variety in Ammunition.

I'd have to say it's a 4" HB S&W M64. The action is perfect, the gun points well, and it's more accurate than any other handgun that I own.

Or maybe the 642, since it keeps all the shots in the X-ring at 7 yards and doesn't weigh 2 pounds.

One of those two...

In December or January I am looking at picking up a 3" somethingorother... Haven't decided what yet. Maybe I'll start a new thread to take suggestions...

Hands down, my S&W 460V. No contest. It does everything. It has a 5" barrel, shoots 45 Colt, 454 Casull, and 460 Magnums. If you want a plinker, you got it. If you want a hand cannon, you got that too. Need to shoot an elk, no problem. Have an angry bear coming at you, this will handle the job. And if you happen to miss, with all five shots, the muzzle flash will probably light the critter on fire, and then you can club it to death! LOL Seriously though, the extreme versatility and durability is what I love about this gun.

3rd one down, 2.5 S&W 66, pinned and recessed. I have a brushed bronze T-grip on order for her.

FAVS

Any Revolver with the Smith & Wesson Emblem on it..

Preferably, K Frames.. Fixed or adjustable sights, it don't matter, Probably fixed for CCW....

Trigger job required... on any of them..

But RED CENT:, The photo that you posted... gets me fired up... I have three built up similar to that... that is one NICE wheel gun...

I guess my all time favs, Models, 19-2 6", Model 15 (K-38 6", Model 19 2 1/2" Round Butt, and a Model 13-2 3" ( actually shot a perfect score with it once ) and of course the K-22 that my Dad left me.

I own a few other brands, but I'm a certified Smithaholic...

For me it's a 4" Colt 38 Special Diamondback smooth and dead accurate. Second would have to be my 4" GP 100 327 mag, because it points so well for me and I like the balance. I do have several S&W's and a couple of Dan Wessons. The Colt and GP100 are just my favorite and a "titch" more accurate than the others. The DW would be 3rd. I'll try to get some pictures up one of these days. - gene

I like the SP101. Feels great in my hand, I shoot it well and tough as nails and accurate for a fighting handgun. What more could you want?
