What's your favorite shotgun?

Easy. My 1968 Belgium Browning A-5 Light Twelve. Bought it from a member on here. Love it. Runner up is my grandfather's Savage Model 220F 20 ga. Someday I'll find a nice Winchester Model 12 or a SxS.

Favorite Shotgun(s)

My favorite "old friend" shotgun is my 1967 vintage Ithaca 37 in 16ga. - it has put a LOT of meat on the table (mostly pheasant, grouse, duck.and woodcock). I bought it when I was fresh out of college, and still have it 45 years later. A close second is my SKB 550 20 ga., bought for me as a Christmas gift in 1971 by my Granddad, engraved to his specification when he visited the factory in Japan that year. My third is also special - a 1930 A.H. Fox Sterlingworth 12 ga. double. It has become my favorite to carry for pheasant hunting in open fields.

I really like my B525. It isn't complicated, it isn't fancy. But if points instinctively where I look.

(Also really like my Benelli pump as an engineered machine but just swing as nicely as the O/U)

For me, Browning Citori, the shotgun you shoot-in, never shoot-out.

I currently own 2 shotguns, a Winchester 97 and a Winchester 1200, both in 12 gauge. Of the 2, I prefer the 1200 as it has a smoother action.

Also, I have always wanted a SxS 20 gauge for upland bird hunting, but I haven't made it happen yet. Maybe someday.

A old 1959 Ithaca 37, 12ga. Have had it for 20+ years, recently picked up a gently used Beretta 390 and it is gaining ground rather quickly on the old pump.

My shotgunnery of late has been extraordinarily casual, not that it was ever really that serious to begin with. As a result, my current favorite is my Rossi 20 ga. coach gun.

There is something supremely satisfying about reaching over with my thumb and cocking the hammers. It also seems to fit me just right.

My stepmother-in-law, who is also a friend, wants to shoot some skeet on the family land now that it is cooling off, so my 870 might move into first place subsequently.

Of course the one that I will rely on if the unthinkable arises would be the Mossberg 500 behind the door.

In a 12 gauge it would be my Mossberg Model 9200. Favorite 20 gauge is my Winchester Model 1300.

Tie between my Ithaca Single Barrel Trap or my Winchester model 21

The Winchester is worth more, but the Ithaca handles so much nicer.

H&R Protector.
Too inexpensive and well built to refuse, I finally bought one.
Its getting a Bushnell TRS25 this week and Mako furniture after deer season.

590A1 is my favorite. Need to practice more with it.

I also enjoy a good O/U (like a Browning) for clay shooting, but do not currently own one of those.
