I wouldn't call it my favorite but my smallest most easily concealed handgun is a Kel Tec P-11. Depending on what I wear I still might carry my XD-40 or my SR 1911 during summertime but the P-11 gets the majority of hot weather carry time.

In hot weather it's usually a TCP or a P238 plus a folding KaBar. Although my Sig C3 1911 or Kimber pro Aegis are the favorites when I can comfortably conceal them. Regardless of what I'm carrying I always have a PT145 in the car.

My carry has changed with my location. I was in an urban setting, Corpus Christi, and everywhere I went, my Kel Tec P11 was with me. I took showers with it on the counter top in the bathroom. I carried a spare 10 round mag on my belt.
NOW, I am in a very rural area and must drive 20 miles "to town", which is a town of 2500. I'm not as paranoid, don't feel the need for firepower, so I prefer my little ulstralite .38 snubby in my pocket. Now, if I drive to one of the big cities, like Houston, I'll add a belt gun in .357 magnum to the load, but around here it's my .38.
Oh, I should also mention the heat and humidity in Corpus, beyond belief until you live there. I've been on the coast most of my life and Corpus is just across the border for hell, I'm convinced. it was over 100 degrees down there two weeks ago. Up here, we haven't hit 90, yet, almost, but not quite. In Corpus, most of the year is T shirt weather and there really ain't much of a winter.

I carry the same guns (Glock 19 and CZ75D Compact, not at the same time) year round. Recently I added a Ruger LCP, but this is as a BUG, and if anything would be more useful in cold weather.
