What's Your Pick for POCKET CARRY??

Sig P238. Shoots where I want it, and the sights is total darkness, make this gun an extraordinary defensive weapon. I keep it in a leather front pocket holster and can wear it with any clothing that has front pockets.

S&W 642. I have tried other J frames but always come back to the 642. I tried a couple of pistols but always circle back to the Smith.

My wife and I both use Keltec 3AT's and both carry and perform flawlessly. We use nickel cased self defense ammo. Older brass cases sometimes that aren't smooth to the touch will sometimes jam a Keltec. Any of the Hornady self defense ammo shoots great out of my Keltecs. I also have no problem hitting anything I am aiming at within 15 yards with those pistols. I have carried Glocks, revolvers and various other pistols but anything bigger than a Keltec I won't carry 100% of the time. The Keltec is small enought to take anywhere and it doesn't bother me. I see no difference in the Keltec and Ruger LCP. They are also great guns.

Keltec P3AT..

Cheap,Ugly and goes bang.

I recently forgot about it and went Kayak fishing... Some surface rust and don't care.

I would have felt much worse about a "nicer" gun.

For me mostly P238 at the office and out and about on the town. 340PD if I am out at the cabin. P3AT at home / yard work / kayaking :)

S&W 442 (no lock) with Buffalo Bore 150 grain hardcast wadcutters at >800 ft/s.

Or Ruger SP101 spurless hammer DAO with 140 grain Buffalo Barnes XPB all copper hollowpoint at 1200 ft/s.

I stopped looking at pocket guns after I bought this:

Im in love:D... LCR, crimson trace, tritium front sight. Covers all the bases for me.
YMMV.

I carry the Keltec 3AT with a pocket clip in jeans, shorts, soccer/physical training pants, dress pants, and on and on. For the dress pants and PT pants, I do switch to an inside the waist band location given the less horizontal pant pockets. And I always carry a spare mag in the left pocket. I rigged my wife’s Ruger LCP with the same clip; works perfectly. Regarding unholstering and reholstering, as with any weapon rig set-up, definitely practice, practice, practice in as realistic scenarios as possible. I believe that most attacks are very fast and very violent- train under pressure and train like you expect to fight.

LCP. But I recently got a G42 that I will try as soon as I find a decent pocket holster for it.

A Blackhawk #3 works pretty good and is cheap, the Desantis that i have for my G26 works good too.

Another vote for the Kahr .380. It gets the nod about 70% of the time, and an KLCR gets it the other 30%. The Kahr in a DeSantis G3 simply disappears in just about any pocket I slip it in.

P238 is the only gun I pocket carry. I've got an LCR, but it's just too big to tuck away in any of my pockets. Use to have an LCR, but too snappy for my liking.

When carrying, I'd rather have a Glock 19, but when deep concealment is required, I'll pocket my Beretta Nano (now that I've worked through its extraction issues, especially with 115 gr) in its non-printing PJ Holster.

I must say, however, that a single-stack Glock in 9mm could turn my head if it isn't much bigger than the Glock 42...
