When did VEPR's stop being imported ?

    Also I've heard there have been no shipments of Saiga's for a while. Is this true. As I understand these things happen in waves.

    Also any changes of 922 being repealed ? What would have to happen ?

    VEPR's stopped being made due to a lawsuit by Izhmash. Basically, they were copying Izhmash's designs that they did not have license for. As a result of the lawsuit, pretty much the entire plant, equipment and all, was handed over to Izhmash.

    Russian American Armory last imported them from Izmash a few years ago. Izmash controlled and probably still holds ownership of the Molot plant.
    Not enough people were interested in the rifle shown below for $600 retail so that ended pretty quickly.

    I really enjoyed my Vepr 308 project gun. I wish they would bring in that 7.62X54 version too. Mine had the nicest rear sight I have seen on an AK.
