Primers - Small pistol variety

Not that I need them right away, but my inventory is dwindling.
We've had so much snow & too many cold days.
I haven't been to the outdoor range in a couple of weeks.

Thank God, I'm a reserve deputy sheriff, so I get to use the indoor range
atleast a little bit, otherwise I'd go crazy. :what:

I'm OK for the most part. I'm down to about 600 small pistol primers but have plenty of 9's loaded. That's all I use 'em for.

I got a grand kid getting married next week
You guessed it---he wants lots of 9MM's
I have 1500 bullets for reloading---I may need to pick up more if they have a shooting party.
I don't know why they can't just skip the marriage baloney & have the party

4350 , 4064 , small rifle primers, 3 or 4 boxes of Hornady 150 gr. 30 cal. bullets, I've got about 6K .22lr, I'll let you other guys catch up ! Oh, and about 4K of SPP's !

Promise to self: "self....never get caught again with fewer than 5,000 each small AND large pistol primers at any given time"

I'd say 22LR but that is two fold. Never get caught again without having a few bricks on hand but also, as I saw the other day, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to pay $90+ for a brick of 22LR. Not even match grade!

So what are all the preppers buying 20k rounds of .22lr going to do when they get tired of eating 20k squirrels after the zombies attack?

I've had the same 3 or 4 bricks of .22 lr for about 10 years now. I was upset when it was going for $20 a brick. Thought I would never see this madness. Guess I will have to buy another brick if I come across one. Not looking but if it presents itself, I will probably buy it.

Small pistol primers
Bulk. 224/62 gr FMJBT
1 or 2 Jugs of aa2230
small rifle primers
several k.45 /230 gr FMJRN:evil:
What ever else I can afford:)

primers and powder.

I was not caught off gaurd at all this panic even as a one year reloader I can go another year with my normal range shooting before running dry. What ive learned through others is that powder and primers are only going up in price. Once the price gouging and hoarding subsides, I would like to have 5 years of components on hand at any given time meaning 35 pounds of hp38, 25k lpp and 25k spp. At first it may sound like a lot, but its only ~$1500 worth of product. Thats just $300/yr to shoot 100 rounds of 38 and 100 rounds of 45 every week. call it an insurance policy against panic. If times get tough, I can still shoot a box of each every other week and have components for 20 years

+1 Primers and bullets. I'll contribute to the madness further by vowing not to let this happen again to me. SPP is non-existent.

I wasn't caught totally unprepared. For instance I have all the .22 ammo I will probably ever shoot.

I have some primers and powder, but I'll prolly stock up a little more.
I'll prolly add at least a 4 pound jug of Bullseye and another of Unique. Maybe some IMR 4350 and some RL15.

Tend to agree with Kerf. "What makes everyone think things are going to return to "normal"? "

My question is what will the new "normal" be? I don't see prices and availablity going back to where they were before the madness began.
