Where are the 45 ACP micro compacts?

I had seen the extension only by Hyve and thought them uggly and garrish.
However the entire magazine looks great.....thanks for the link.
Edit- Oh well, they are out of stock.

The Hyve magazines are real Glock mags with the Hyve bottom already installed. I bought a pair a while back when they were in stock. Hopefully, they'll have some new ones ready to go soon.

Somewhere I have a comparison photo of the SIG and a Colt 1903, dang if I can find it now (very near identical other than weight).

Ask and ye shall receive!

The M1903 and P365XL are basically identical.

I had posted a picture above of my P365XL and Bul Ultra back to back, but here they are stacked.

Again, almost identical (although weight and capacity are different).

Xds .45 isn't bad at all to shoot compared to a lightweight .357, or even my lcr with .38+p. My friend has had one since it was released and it's a fine pistol. His wife qualified in her CCL class with it. That pistol fills the same role as a .44 special bulldog to me except in a flatter package. 5+1 or 6+1 beats all the snubbies out their for capacity.

I've had an xds 9mm for almost as long. Actually, now I have two of them because I traded a shield for a duplicate xds and while I agree the pineapple texture isn't very good there's been no need to replace it either.

I guess I'm too old school for a micro 45.I like to shoot my pistols a lot,and I just couldn't look forward to shooting a 45 in a smaller pistol than my Sig P320 Compact. With full throttle 185's,it's not uncomfortable at all to shoot, and I tend to shoot it very good.My least fired pistol is my Sig P938 9MM.It's a single stack, and very easy to conceal, but with full power 147 grain ammo, recoil is downright nasty to me.To each his own,but a micro 45 is just a lot of recoil in a package that you just can't hold onto very well.

Recoil. Just another case of different folks experiencing the same things differently sometimes ...

To me my XDses(?) are wonderful carry pistols. Accurate, comfortable, natural shooters (but not as natural as my 30S which is sweeeeeet ;)), recoil neither too much nor painful.

I do not know how well/accurately I can shoot them at 50yds because I have never shot them at 50yds (that I can recall). I figure if the BG is that far away I won't be shooting, I will have already completed the separation phase and will be engaged in enthusiastically extending. :)

At 25yds, though, they are accurate enough in my hand to efficiently stop a Threat.

I bought a 3.3" .45acp XDs in Aug'13 and daily carried that more than any other handgun for 6 years.

Aug'19 I jumped at the chance to buy a 3.3" .45acp XDs Mod2 (no pineapple-grade grip treatment ... Yay!) for $125 less (Sale!) than I paid for the first one. And, as a bonus, when I reached Cabelas I discovered that it came with a Tritium front sight. Very nice!
My 30S is a wonderful pistol
But .. Id still like to own Shield 45ACP

Thanks for your research, you are right abouth the extenders' available. They are available on both links howevert my out of stock comment was re. the complete mag w/ext assembly.

Also I lied…for whatever reason I thought I’d saw something about a 10mm P365 at one point. Must have been drunk.
I could see a 40S&W but a 10mm P365 would not be feasible in such a small frame size... It would have to be a slightly bigger frame, like a P342.5! (halfway between a P320 and a P365)

They’re too hard to shoot well and have lower capacity than 9mm. Add the super high ammo pricing and they’rea tough sell, these days.
