    Much thanks guys!!

Family in IN says how ridiculously warm it's been so far this winter. Has me wondering if the geese aren't moving more SE than S as usual. This might make for a great season near the Mississippi river to make up for how scarce it is for us. If so, then I'm genuinely happy for them because it feels great to have a good year to remember.

Goodness d2wing, you guys are ice fishing by Tgiving most years aren't you?? I'm sure you love ice fishing as much as my wife and I do and it's gotta be shear torture on you with open/newely frozen lakes still.

What if we think back about 12,000 years,
to the end of the last ice age.

    Then came Younger Dryas,
    which is what we call
    that event now.

Greenland heated 18F in 50 yrs,
most of it in one decade.

Would that change anything where you live?

Correct asc, most years some guys are on the ice by Thanksgiving. This is a very late ice up. I am not real big on ice fishing but my son is. I live by a lake and have to cross it to get to a snowmobile trail. I am laid up due to foot surgery so I can wait this year. Some fish houses are on the lake now but no trucks.
