Didn't know LNL used shell plates. Thought it used bushings, about $4 each on average

Shell plates= plates that hold shells or cases.
Bushings= a collar that dies screw into to be placed in the top of the press.

Cheap shell plates? They don't exist. Anywhere you buy them right now is most likely sold out and on back order if you are wanting the more popular plate. If you want to get them and you want them soon the best route is ebay. I resorted to buying a #6 and a #8 on ebay and I am waiting patiently for 2 months now for 3 more on back order.

Cheer up. There's hope. I sent my old-style shellplates for the ezject modification, and just got them back after seven weeks. The reason for the delay? Hornady was out of the plastic boxes the shellplates are packed in, and was waiting for the backorder to arrive. My guess is that's what's been holding up delivery, and new ones should be shipping soon.

I just bought a 44 Mag shellplate last week and it was in stock at Midway. I scanned the other sizes and they had them also. Maybe they just got a shipment.
