Yeah, clearly hoarders buying up everything. I'm new into reloading, but I have been buying 1k primers at a time, 1 pound powder at a time, knowing others need it too... greedy bastards out there...
 
1k primer and 1 pound powder buys online means you are shooting yourself in the foot, that would be ridiculous. I would never buy less than 5k primers or a 4-5-8 pound jug of powder.

Piddly amounts are what you buy locally.

And remember, most of America isn't 'rich' enough to buy mass quantities of crap online.
 
Hey, Winchester primers are good crap! :D And you can't buy Montana Gold bullets locally. ;)

To justify the $27.50 HazMat fee, you really need to order 5000 or more to offset the cost. And Powder Valley did set a 10,000 primer limit.

So at 5,000, it would be $5.50 + $28 = $33.50/1000
At 10,000, it would be $2.75 + $28 = $30.75/1000

Also keep in mind there were probably a lot of reloaders waiting on Powder Valley to get some primers in stock and not to mention the only primers you could find online now is going for $60/1000!


I just placed another order with Montana Gold Bullet for 380Auto/40S&W bullets. I only needed about 2000 380Auto bullets but all they had was case quantity of 4500 as quantity of 1000 was not available. And as of now, even the case quantities are sold out.

I will probably sell/trade the remainder of 380Auto bullets on THR. BTW, PM me if you need some of the 380Auto bullets (95 gr JHP).

For any locals in Southern Maine, KTP has primers... CCI small rifle (400), CCI small pistol, Winchester large rifle, and large rifle mag.

They also had quite a bit of Fed 22 LR in the blue 525 count boxes.

No powder... at least none that I use :^(
 
i thought the same thing. was looking at the .38cal 125gr hp but they sold out to quickly. still need to find a good mold for this rifle
 
I SAID I'd report back on the Wolfe Publishing deal when I heard back from them, but I have heard nothing. It appears the situation has been adequately covered by others on here anyway. Their website hasn't updated in the last year or 2 and they don't have any of the stuff you see listed there. :(
