I've searched around and can only find those cheap plastic pins. I want to get a set to have my own bowling pin matches but I can't find any. any ideas?

I just go to my local bowling alley and ask if they have any old ones they can let go. Bowling alleys replace their pins periodically because all that knocking around messes them up. They were just gonna throw them away, so I offer a dollar a piece. But my buddy went to a different bowling alley and had to pay $2 a piece.

I used to be a Bruinswick dealer for many years and we even used bowling pins for firewood. Every bowling alley will have ones with chips knocked out of them. I also used the flooring for firewood also.

Bowling alley is the best place. Drive around back and offer the guy smoking a cigarette $20 for a box full.

My local bowling allies always sell them to me for $1 a pin. One of them is kinda liberal hippy so I tell them I want them for an art project. The other one is fine with me shooting them up.

"...those cheap plastic pins..." As in kid's toy pins? Those won't do. Real pins are wood with a plastic cover. They don't last forever either. They get full of lead, have bullets sticking out so they won't roll, etc, etc.
You'll need a whole bunch for a match. How many depends on the number of tables you have, of course.

I found some local guy sellin em $15 a box (10)
All the boxes are marked bad although they looked fine to me, he said he found em out back?
I got one case, I know Im gunna shoot em but Im not sure how yet.
Im pretty lazey and I dont wanna have to standem back up all the time, thinkin about screwin somthin into the top of one and hanging it.
