Nill-Griffe, but they are pricey. Occasionally, grips from an Elite come up on some of the gun auction sites.

Thanks swmp9jrm. they have a few grips for the p220 sao but they are $200! bit out of my price range.

does anyone else know where to get some nice grips (wood or rubber) for the P220 SAO?

I had been looking for some time for new grips for my SAO P220, finally gave up a few months in to the hunt. Seems that short of very expensive custom grips we are out of luck. Hopefully I am wrong and someone can shed some light on some grips that don't cost as much as a new used gun.

The proper terminology is "SA" (Single-Action), not SAO.

The trigger mechanism cannot perform any other action.

He has a set of factory wood for DAO, I think, that will work and wants to sell them.

The DAO controls have different cut outs than the SAO models.

SAO is the term used by Sig Sauer which is why I use it when discussing this model. All articles pertaining to this model refer to it as the P220 SAO as well.
