Where Do You Keep Your Firearms?

At the police department.... just kidding.

I keep the ones I routinely shoot in my man cave/home office for the most part. The others are generally locked up.

If no one's said it yet let me point out that all the uber secret hiding places you can think up a thief already knows about

We have a s/g downstairs by the couch.
hk 45 and walther p380 next to the couch in the biometric finger print safe.
hk 45 in another biometric finger print safe master bedroom.
mossy cruiser in bedroom.
.223 in bedroom closet.
lol something in the computer room and another suprise in the workout room.

surprises are wonderful!:what:

No one's business but mine. Don't want to be an alarmist conspiracy nut, but cannot certain federal agency's track a website, forum contributors back to the source of transmission------like your home? Maybe I'm staying up to late here in Bagram, remind self to get some tinfoil from messhall.:D:D:neener::neener:

Yes everything could be traced back to the nic number on your device. Lots of work but doable.
Your trips to the range or your property are easily monitored too.

I keep my long guns on a rack and my pistols either in my holster on my hip, or on a rack in my "man-cave".

If you think "they" are not monitoring everything we do already, you're mistaken.

Besides... After CISPA passes and gets signed into law (already passed the house by a disgusting majority), it'll be that much easier (with no legal recourse for us "regular folk") to spy on us.

They are at the Police Department----- And I'm not kidding.

I keep my duty gun, my work rifle, and at least one of my back-ups at work all the time.

The other guns I have usually stay in a safe at home.

Well let's see..... a 12 ga short barrel behind the front door, a Win 97 beside the bed, an 870 out in the garage in the loading room, some in a safe in the bedroom "just in case" and the rest in the vault. Oh yeah, at least one on me at all times. Oh, and one in my wife's purse.

Did I forget anything? :scrutiny:

Revolver on the nightstand, shotgun in the corner, all other pistols and rifles in the steel gun cabinet.

If I don't have them locked up, I'd at least like to have them hidden. Which means long guns in a safe in the closet, handguns scattered. Unfortunately, this means I need a couple more handguns to have one in each room.

I only say unfortunately because of my wallet.

Locked in a safe

Locked up in a safe. I typically take the shotgun out at night and put it by the nightstand for easy reach. I also have a pistol and I found a holster that fits between the mattress and boxspring made by blackhawk called the bedside holster.

Locked in the safe, unloaded, with mags and speed loaders at hand if necessary.

Too many kids in and out to do anything else in my current situation.

I used to keep them in my walk in bedroom closet but i started running out of room as I'm buying multiple guns a year. Now that i just bought my first house I finally decided to shell out the money for one of the nice, huge liberty gun safes from cabelas. It was expensive but it'll be well worth it in the long haul, especially having a baby on the way. But now that ill have my own house ill definitely find/make a few safe (from everyone but me and girlfriend) secret spots that we could get to a weapon in a hurry if needed.

Well they won't all fit in my big safe so I have about 25 or so in my office/hangout area. Plus a couple hidden here and there in the garage and boileroom.
