I've only been able to find one guy selling m39s here , apart from on gunbroker/auction arms. For most Mosins I would go to aztec..

I'd just like to see what my options are before I go scouring a gun show for one :).

http://www.interordnance.com/ used to sell them. I don't know if they still do.

    Also try http://www.oldgunsupply.com/

I bought all three of mine from WG&A and am very happy with all of them. Kinda pricy when compared to some other C&R rifles? Perhaps, but they are very nice rifles and worth the money.

If I were you, I'd grab either that unissued 1967 or the unissued 1970. Those are tack drivers and beautiful rifles.

Kickin' myself for not buying a couple when you could get them shipped to you in unissued condition for $80 from Burns Brothers...

Have you checked with Miltary Gun Supply? They often have stock that's not on the web site.....

I've bought three antiques from WGA and am very happy with them. I've checked most of the other C&R and auction sites and for what they sell WGAs prices are usually the best. I check their site at least once a day to see if they've updated their list. You can also check the trader boards at Sturmgewehr.com and at Tuco's trader boards and Parallax's trader boards. Good luck.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna buy one from WG&A as well. So is it a horrible sin to buy one of those 100% m39s from WG&A, and then go out and shoot it?? :) I was gonna use this as a range piece. (Actually thinking about picking up a second beater m39 for range use.. but since only about 100k were ever made, it seems kinda sinful to be wearing down any m39!)

Some may say that, but it's very enjoyable! :)

I bought an unissued "B-Barrel" and an unissued Sk.Y from them. Both look brand new, both had pristine, unfired barrels. I love shooting them(although I do baby the Sk.Y like a precious child) and they are very accurate. They both shoot better than my professionally rebuilt Barnett barreled .308 Garand which cost twice as much as all three of my M39s combined.

To add to the sacrilege, I even added a set of Mojo front and rear arpertures to the B-barrel. Hey, life's too short not to enjoy the little pleasures. As good as they shoot, it's a sin to let these wonderful rifles waste away in the darkness of a gun safe.

    M39's

I've got 5 of them now - everyone a great shooter. My favorite is a 1943 SKY that looks like it went through hell but has the sweetest trigger I have ever used. Can't miss with that rifle.

WG&A (wholesale guns and ammo) is at http://www.gunsnammo.com, just click on "M-39 Mosin-Nagants" on the lefthand side.

I bought three, one is an antique Puolustuslaitos marked w/ 100% bluing and new war time stock, I don't think I'll fire that one too much, but I have a 40% antique Sako that has a sweet action and trigger and a 99% antique VKT that'll get shot once I find some ammo here in the middle of the pacific. The MOJO sights also sound like a good idea since they're easily removed:)

PS: Nice sling DMK where did you get it?
