Found this forum searching for brass and bullets online and I am hooked!! Thank you all for the information that has been put on here.

Now to my question.... Has anyone on here ordered... say 25k brass, bullets from anywhere? I know right now its hard to find anything, but when all the crazed madness is over where is the best place to order in large quantities? Most places I've found want 1k round orders...Surely there is somewhere that will cut a deal for that big of an order?

not right now. why would they sell 25k at a reduced price to you when they could just sell 1k to 25 people willing to pay 2x pre-panic prices or more?

Purcy, Normally I do not get involved in a reloaders needs, there are not many scales, powder measures, dies and presses I do not have, and cases, I have cases, problem most reloaders talk about how bad things are and are not interested in solving their problem.

Question, you are in Texas? What area?

I understand the panic price thing. I'm just looking for a place that handles large orders for a set price rather than buying 25 1k round orders when the panic is over (hopefully).

I am looking into loading 9, 40, 45. All the good stuff that is hard to find currently. Maybe down the road load some rifle in bulk as well. Really I'm just trying to get all my ducks lined up so when this is over I don't have to start this process over again.

I think Montana Gold also sells Starline Brass as well as their own bullets.

keep in mind that straight walled pistol brass is reloadable for 30 40 50+ loadings. most people loose a piece of auto brass before it splits or the primer pocket loosens too much. 25k may be a bit much, I keep 5k of my big shooters( 38spl and 45acp) on hand loaded up as well as about 1500 of lesser shot rounds(380 and 357). This gives me a years worth of loaded ammo on hand and assuming the brass lasts between 25 and upwards of 90 loadings, I know that as long as I grab a few extra pieces of auto brass every range trip to make up for lost brass, I will never need to go scrounging for brass in my lifetime and im only 23.

last i checked yankee2500? still had both 9 and 40 brass for 40/k on here. With how much business he does, i assume he has bulk to sell. I bought a k of 380 from him and was happy with the transaction.

I order bulk. In the last orders, 20k Berrys 9mm 147's run $1600 and from Hornady each 6000 round box of 55g FMJ's were something like $325.

My friend that owns theshooterssource.com borrowed my brass sorter and keeps me stocked but before that I always used range brass for almost everything. Had to buy rounds like 458 socom, 7mm BR and the like but I don't need 5 gallon bucket fulls of the oddballs.

Thank you all for the replies so far. I have never looked for this much reloading supplies. Most everything I have needed in the past I could find locally. Keep them coming if you see a place that hasn't been listed!
