I just got a press and all the necessary accessories to start loading these two rounds. I've got the brass, primers, and powder, but no bullets. Been holding off, looking around locally and online, but I can't find any for a decent price. I don't know of any lesser-known sights, just your standard Midway, Brownell's, Midsouth, Berry's, etc. I am not looking to buy new barrels for my Glocks to start shooting cast bullets right now, so that's off the table. Where's a good place to look? Just plinking ammo, nothing terribly fancy.

Input is really appreciated, and please, go easy on me! I've only been a reloader for an hour or so now!

powdervalley has berrys 200gr 45 swc bullets in stock and a few flavors of berrys 9mm plated in stock. they may not be the best, most reliable nor most accurate in your glocknades but it sure as heck beats camping out at walmart all week to be there when ammo arrives then pay $20 for a box of 45.

when I need 380, 38 or 45 bullets, I just plug in the pot, melt down some lead and pump out 650 bullets an hour. Nothing better than free boolits.

I'm certainly going to get into casting (or even just lead) soon, but the wallet can't handle 4 more barrels... But I'll check them out. Thanks! And yeah, I'm looking forward to an alternative to buying $20/box ammo, or using up my modest stock.

This is where I get all of my handgun bullets for my Glocks. I (personally) think they shoot great and they are cost efficient. Any orders over $50 are free shipping too.

I actually order 1k 230grn RN and 1k 147grn RN from them, but the 3-4 week wait is painful... I am just looking to get some reasonably cheap bullets both for the wait, and to have another source than my incredibly shot list lol.

My only other suggestion would be to look at evergladesammo.com. I had ordered some .223 bullets a while back and the shipping was fast.

Depending or cast, plated or jacketed I use several places depending on the purpose of the bullets. For simple practice cast I use http://www.qualitycastbullets.com/bullets for plated Berry's and for high quality jacked I like http://www.precisiondelta.com/index.php

Now higher quality hard cast bullets then Oregon Trial with their laser cast but more expensive. I tend to avoid the large outlets such as Midway etc for bullet purchases as they often are more expensive with exception of the occasional sales on flawed usually just the finish but still shoot well.

Thanks for the shout out Bds.

As BDS mentioned, I happen to be the owner of Rocky Mountain Reloading. Normally I have a TON more things in stock but I have been pretty much cleaned out of most of the more popular stuff. That said, I do have plenty of 45 SWC and 124 grain 9mm plated. I am headed to SHOT Show tonite so if you order, I won't be able to ship until friday.

I usually buy directly form Berry's...

All the distributors are "out of stock, no back order"

Berry's web site says they are 3 weeks out and will book your order.

In Stock (if that's what you want)

And the price is still the same as it was before all the hoarding started

Here's the .45 ACP hollowpoint that I am casting.

Comes out at about 204gr when sized and lubed.
