Remington 158gr Semiwadcutter Lead Hollowpoint, +P, I believe the product code is R38S12, commonly available from the better stocked gun stores, and I believe I've seen it from internet dealers also. Winchester has the same offering but I've never bought the WW brand as reports I've read indicated Remington used softer lead.

Midway has it at $26.99, box of 50, their product code is 548921, you may very well find it cheaper locally.

Has the federal version. Click on 38 special and check the bottom of the page.
    Good luck,

I recently bought several boxes of the Federal load from Ammoman.com. It's a bit smokey but shoots great in my Model 10. The price isn't bad for good defensive ammo either.

    Thank you gents.
I bought some from Eric at Ammoman, and got a really good deal, in my opinion.

If you want a version that wont lead your barrel like all the others do, and is flash supressed, go to www.buffalobore.com and check out their +P version or thier standard pressure version.

FWIW the FBI later replaced the old 158 grain LSWCHP +P with a 147 grain Hydrashock in +P. Supposedly it had the same performance as the 158 but penetrated glass and car doors better.
