Which 8mm Mauser do I have

    It has this number 25132 and 1956 included in a stamping that I think my be Turkish. I've taken pictures and will try to attach them.

    The "Ankara" stamp would be Turkish.

    If it has a half-length top handguard, that's usually another sign that it's a Turk.

    Yup.. the Muslim Crescent is another giveaway..Turkish!

    Looks like a small ring 93 from the firing pin shroud

    That swelling forward of the receiver is interesting -- I've never spotting this feature before. I presume it is some variant of handguard retainer ring.
