Which 9mm Ammo For Yours?

While I never had problems with the WWB, I found them to not be as accurate as the CCI, IMO.

People should take 3 different types of ammo, and shoot 10 rouinds each into fresh targets. You will be suprised how some are different on paper.

I also find UMC to be the worst of the cheap ones, then WWB, then CCI.

I have not shot MagTech.

I like Magtech a lot. Also Blazer Brass. That stuff is just clean. They now have their own headstamp- "BLAZER" whereas they used to be "CCI".

Of course, my 9mm ammo is what I use the most- 125gr lead round nose, range brass, Wolf small pistol primer, 4.0 gr of Titegroup. Cost is $3.30 per box of 50 right now.

Evan,
That's some cheap price per round! About half of what mine cost now. The last bullets I ordered (last week) were $52 per k for the 9mm 125gr LRN "Small Ball". Shipping was $9.95 for 3k bullets. I use Bullseye powder @ $17 a pound (Loads 1555 rds @4.5gns), and Winchester primers. I know the Wolf primers are a little cheaper, but not enough to make a significant difference in cost per k. If you have some cheaper sources for reloading supplies, please share. To stay on topic, my reloads work well in all my 9mm pistols and cost $6 per 50.
Thanks,

Evan,
Thanks for the info. I belong to two private gun clubs, and occasionally go to a public range nearby, so brass is not a problem. I have praticipated in group buys in the past at my clubs, need to get up an order with the guys soon! My latest purchase was 8# of Bullseye along with 5k Winchester SPP, and 3k cast bullets. That's the numbers I was basing my cost on. I still have 4-5# of BE, about 3k SPPs, and 1500 125 LRN bullets on hand from my last purchase. I'm sure they were cheaper than my last purchase, so cost per rd would have been cheaper had I used those numbers. The cost of reloading supplies is going up by leaps and bounds! I am going to place an order for some of the Wolf primers. I like to save a penny when I can. I could reduce my powder charge to 4gns and save a little there too. Problem there is only a slight reduction will get my loads under Power Factor. Looks like I'm paying about twice as much for bullets as you. I'd go back to casting bullets if I had a readilly available source of inexpensive lead. I dunno-----------maybe I need to explore the group buy thing at the clubs. Thanks for all the information.
Good shooting!
