When money permits, I'm thinking of getting another Browning to replace the Hi-Power that I had to recently sell. I'm looking at some of their newer offerings and when finances improve and the time comes to buy, I've narrowed it down to two choices:

I was interested in the Compact and after some research decided against it due to the poor trigger. I got a Sig P239 and love it.
If I was buying now and polymer was under consideration I might get the FNP-9. Reliable, light, accurate and great trigger.

I never liked the trigger on the forty nine. Of course I tend to like SA better than DA. Given your choices I think I would go with the DA Hi Power, although one of those little detective Hi Powers would probably suit me better. But to each his own.

Hey guys CDNN has the FN PRO in stock. I'm going to run over there tomorrow and take a look at one if they will let me.
