Which Colt 380 is best, Gov. Pocketlite,Mustang, Mustang pocketlite,Gov. mark 4, Pony pocketlite?

I prefer the Government myself. Extra round and slightly longer grip make it a better shooter for me.

I carry a full-size M1911, which would be the Government model (mine happens to be a Kimber.) With a good IWB the full-size gun is easy to carry and comfortable to boot -- I often forget it's there.

I'm in a quandary about their .380s myself. For me the gun would be a BUG, which might well mean carrying it in an "off" side pocket. Had a Mustang Pocketlite for a time, but neither cocked 'n' locked nor (ugh) condition 2 carry suited me, so the gun was traded off.

More recently I was pondering a Pony (Pocketlite if possible). However nothing approaching a good deal on one has been found. Also that DA trigger would be a challenge, especially for my weak hand.

The search continues, but those PM-series Kahr 9mm guns have of late become more and more appealing. Now to catch somebody who is motivated to sell one at a decent price.

I like the Mustang Pocketlite, as it is the smallest and lightest, and still has all the controls of the regular 1911.

I to am favoring the mustang pocketlite. I have a Pocket Nine but need a comealong to pull the trigger

Gov 380. I like the looks, the bushing and the easy of carry. Nothing like a minature 1911 to play with. To bad someone does not continue the same idea in a true 1911 with out the plastic parts and out of better steel.

Next to the beretta 84F (below) the gov 380 looks downright dainty!
