Which Glocks are you buying before they disappear?

I've got a G27 Gen3 on the way. While I've carried mostly 9mm for the last decades I like the .40 a lot and appreciate its advantages over the 9.

I have three Glocks, two of them strictly for GSSF matches, the other for GSSF and CCW.
I have an itchy trigger finger for a .45 ACP, G21 or G41 but the 21, available cheap as PD tradein would just be an alternate for my G17 and the 41 would take up time from my 34MOS. So it wouldn't get me more shooting, just slightly different shooting, and the fun of adjusting them for the powderpuff load I use in my 1911.

In 2019, a couple years out of putting the last kid through college, and enjoying the rebounding economy of a couple of years of the first Trump administration, my goal was to buy myself a present in the summer of 2020, and that was going to be a Gen 4 G34. Then of course Covid hit, and production and supplies dried up, and then the Gen 4 guns got cancelled.

While I thought the Gen 4 G34 slide cutout was cool, the Gen 5 G35 is probably a better gun, though I never understood why the long slide gun is only available with the MOS. I really have no use for one, but a Gen 5 G34 is probably still the Glock I would want to have.

The Glock model highest and longest on my list of “unfinished business“ is the G34, but, having recently bought a pair of the Gen5 17L, and already having several G17 pistols, a G34 is left without a role. I do have two or three very good holsters, made long enough to accommodate the G34, because I had long thought that I would eventually add a G34, but, I do not worry about the “wasted space,” when I tote a mere G17 in those holsters. I may yet buy a G34, but, there is simply no feeling of urgency, at this time.

Glocks are disappearing?

Glock is discontinuing quite a few models.

The G29 and G30 are the only 2 being discontinued that I'd want. I already have a G30 and can live without the G29.

Given how many of all the models were made, I'm not expecting them to "disappear" any time soon.

The ones being discontinued were not particularly big sellers. That's why they are being discontinued. In the last few years Glock has introduced a lot of new models, so I'm not really surprised that most of those being discontinued are.

I have one Gen 3 19 that's enough.

I only have it because my wife's kids from CA like coming to a free State and shooting it with real magazines. Guess it makes them feel felonious or something. I'd never get what I've got in it selling it either.

None, don't own any Glocks. Now my son is hinting he would like a G-19, but he can go mow lawns for one.
"We have Glocks at home."
The Glock at home.

I've considered getting the Glock 38, but that's be for used model, not new. Have thought of getting a .45 ACP, but not sure if I'd want to go G21 or G30.

Really, what I want is for Ruger to make a .45 RxM.

I ordered a Glock 49 after I saw that they were going away. I have a G45 MOS I like a lot, figured I could make a G47 if I wanted to. Price was right, and who knows, maybe a collectible someday.

None, except for another Gen 3 G17 just to round on the collection. I already have all that I want.

I have never owned a Glock and never will. I have handled a few and none felt "right" and I'm not going to learn to shoot something that feels wrong when there are so many others to choose from that have that "right" feel. Other that that I have nothing against them.
