i just received an email that i won the weekly drawing for a Desantis holster, i have a ruger lcr 9mm, which holster would you get if you were me? right now i own 2 soft tuks. thanks

I have to agree, the Mini-Scabbard is a very good holster. I have several Speed-Scabbards for larger semi-autos and revolvers. They are also great holsters.

If you are happy with your Sof Tuck, then WrongHanded is right, get a holster for your next gun.

If you want another holster for your LCR, I'd go with something completely different that gives you other options. OWB or IWB, either way you're talking strong side primary carry (usually). For times you need something else, maybe get a pocket or ankle holster.

What handgun do you want next? Answer that question, then get a holster for it.

Or go for this...If you already have the holsters you like for your current gun, get one for the next gun you want to buy so you don't need to also spend money on leather for it, you only need the initial purchase price.

will be a while before i get another gun unless i sell this one and that ain't happening the way this one shoots, i have fell in love with the lcr 9mm. may get another gun in a year or so but for now i'm fine with this one. i received my holster yesterday, it is the Desantis thumb break scabbard. even tho my gun is hammerless it still fits and is retained, won't fall out or be pulled out. if i fall now my gun will stay in the holster, plus it looks great, now i can carry owb when i wear pants that are too snug for iwb. i pass contests up all the time but not anymore, still can't believe i won. thanks

Congrats on winning the contest! I have several DeSantis holsters; have been very pleased, especially with their SOF-TUK, Mini Scabbard, and E-GAT slide holsters.

I'm very much a fan of their Mini-Scabbard and carry one with a Ruger LC9 nearly every day. It was the inspiration for one of my latest creations.
