14" Desert Eagle....has the same effect as when Wyatt Earp pulled out his Buntline Special. Oooooh's & aaaaaah's....followed by "wish mine was that long"....guess size matters.

Yugo sks???

So it's got a bayonet and a grenade sight... that's cool and all...
But I got a Romanian sar1 "Kalashniclone" with pistol grips front and rear, a Chinese 75 round drum magazine and an aimpoint sight on top...
My Russian "tommy" girl...

However, nothing get's more Ooh's and Aah's than the .444 Marlin that belongs to my brother-in-law...
It looks like any normal lever gun but everybody stops and stares when that dragon roars and that gigantic spent brass flips through the air...
His .500 S&W Magnum comes in a close third...

50 AE Desert Eagle.

And since I'm such a nice guy I always let anyone who asks shoot it. I've also noticed that most of the people who try it always ask if they can keep one of the casings.

Here's another vote for the M1 Garand. I have two of them, one new and the other made in February 1944. If the sight of these rifles doesn't get everyone's attention, the trademark "ping" brings them over for a look. People really seem to get a kick out of seeing both of them side by side.

I only own one gun, but I did get an offer to buy it off me less than 10 seconds after it had been in my posession. Oh, wait, there are a couple that belong to a friend that have drawn some looks. First is a Smith and Wesson 329PC- at least, it got looks when it exploded. :D Second is his SxS .470NE (Not sure of the manufacturer) You think you know recoil...

I think its odd, but the one of mine that gets the most attention is an old 1939 mauser that I've sporterized to a scout rifle configuration. Once I let someone shoots it - others ljust seem to ine up for their turn. Got to admit that its the quickest rifle for target acquisition I've got. And really easy to hit with! With 8x57 milsup ammo still cheap, I let em shoot it alot. Have to clean it good that same day when corosive ammo is used, but I don't mind as I take the opportunity to work on the trigger pull each time its apart.

Good ol' Appalachian Assault Rifle

The one everyone wants to shoot is my Rossi Puma Lever Action in .357 Magnum. Once they work the action THEY ARE HOOKED!!
