Intelligence is scarce
Apparently. Marketing failure. Take the 260 and shorten it a touch so it holds less powder and sell it like hotcakes as the 6.5 Creedmoor. Wonderful marketing on Hornady's part.

Where do you mount the gun?

I had a Swede. Loved that rifle. When it was stolen, it lamented over replacing it.
The only complaint I had was the brass not being easily formed from something else.
.260Rem is ballistically idental and it can use .243, 7-08, .308 scrounged brass. I never found any 6.5x55 brass on a range.
Oh visual comparison between the HTR and HMR.

Ya that's a nice affordable scope, I've been thinking of trying one on my 6.5 prc or my 7wsm both have 3-9x40 on them, both have the power to reach out so the 14x would be nice.I just this afternoon put a Burris 4.5-14 Droptine with ballistic reticle on my 7mmMag.
I bought rifle on clearance at Walmart for less than action from Brownells. (Remington M700 SPS).
It is perfect! I’d had several other scopes on but either they were trash, (no name 3x-9x that came on rifle) and later a cheapo 2.5-10x that wasn’t too clear or adjustments didn’t track accurately.
Now that Rifle has 200+rods through it, accuracy has improved and I’m getting 1” or better 3-shot groups. Most distributors are discounting the Burris at $159. A lot of scope for the money.
I had a Droptine 4.5-14 also, it was on my Ranger for a bit. I can comfortably recommend them.....id actually forgotten about it. If your interested in one lemme ask Dell he was getting deals on burris stuff for a while there.Ya that's a nice affordable scope, I've been thinking of trying one on my 6.5 prc or my 7wsm both have 3-9x40 on them, both have the power to reach out so the 14x would be nice.
Glass is fantastic for the cost, reticle is 2moa graduated with a center cross, the turrets FEEL fantastic, and the fact they are covered is nice.Let me know how you like that HMR. I almost bought one for my wife's 6.5cm, but ordered the Helos 5x20x50 instead. It currently has a Vortex Diamond Back that I'm gonna move to my CVA.
Not when you consider the Night Force NXS 3.5x15x50 I've been contemplating is 28oz.Glass is fantastic for the cost, reticle is 2moa graduated with a center cross, the turrets FEEL fantastic, and the fact they are covered is nice.
Down side is the things a bit of a brick.....tho suppose 26oz isnt ridiculous by todays hunting scope standards.
Yeah my buddies shv is something like 32oz ..... fantastic optic thoNot when you consider the Night Force NXS 3.5x15x50 I've been contemplating is 28oz.
I get some money in I'd be interested in getting a price, one may go good on the m18I had a Droptine 4.5-14 also, it was on my Ranger for a bit. Merry Christmas you mainlanders lolMerry Christmas everyone.
I bought a Remington 700 ADL Package from Cabela’s around 20 years ago. It had a Pine Ridge on it. It was without a doubt the worst scope I’ve ever owned. I’ve stated a number of times my extreme dislike of Vortex Crossfire II scopes but compared to a Pine Ridge a Crossfire is a Razor.got some cheaper crap stored away including a Cabelas Pineridge that, at one time, tried to bite me on a 243. My god, that eye relief is short!
