I recently picked up a used revolver and am trying to figure out which model it is and where to find an owners manual for it. It appears to be a older (relatively) model and all the manuals on the TaurusUSA website are for their current models.

And here it is!......

The only identifiying stamps appear to be ".22 Magnum" on the right hand side of the barrel and the serial number 0F84724 on the right side of the gun. Any thoughts?

Although the newer model 941 in .22 Mag has a full underlug barrel I think you will find that the manual is basically the same. I also think the model number is the same .

They are presently made only with the 4 and 2 inch barrels. The new models also have the crane locks .

Edit: Opps ! Forgot about their 5 inch barrel with full underlug.

Thanks. The clerk also thought it was a 941, but there were enough differences to make me wonder. I've downloaded the manual and will puruse it.

Edit: I also found a place on the Taurus website where you can submit your serial number and they will tell you the model and provide a copy of the manual.
