My personal favorite is Iraqveteran8888. Eric and Barry are very knowledgeable and they cover unique stuff all things guns. It was sad to hear of Barry's passing a while back, he was quite a character. Mr Guns n Gear, and Sootch00 are great also.

So, what's your favorite gun Youtube channel?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't watch anyone in particular for reviews(guns are subjective), but I do enjoy watching Hickok simply because of his love of shooting.

I would say Robski, Hickok45 and Iraqvet. Not necessarily in that order.

    Sootch00 and Hickock45. Sometimes MAC.

Add Nutnfancy and Yankee Marshall as seconds. Nutnfancy gets a little long winded. Yankee is entertaining, but I like his gun reviews better than his political commentary. Not that I disagree with him.

    Nutnfancy.

Say what you will about him, but find me a more thorough or honest review ANYWHERE about a particular gun.

Hickok45, and the Military Arms Channel. Both of these seem to genuinely love the sport, and want to pass the enthusiasm on. A lot of the others seem, to me, either uneducated, or dry. I agree that Iraqiveteran8888 is enjoyable, I like his "kit" videos (get-home bag, etc.).

I like Nutnfancy a lot. Also Pete at the Armory Channel but mostly because he is hilarious and I like to see how many times he mispronounces words or uses improper grammar. But mostly because he's funny. Hickok45 bores me because every video is the same thing, him shooting targets in his backyard for 20 min.

Welcome to THR. With that post, I can tell your age. :D And, if I might be mistaken, it's no big deal.

hickok45 and Clay Martin are my two favorites at this point. I also enjoy for it's entertainment value FPS Russia.

Hickock45 because he reminds me so much of the way my sons and I used to go shooting... just "plinking," but with an informative background. Yes, sometimes he's a little spotty on technical and historical aspects, but at least he says so when he's not positive about something.

I love it when he notices an aggressive pumpkin or watermelon approaching and needs discouraging.

There's also an auction house which presents fine and accurate details on the guns they're selling, but the exact name escapes me right now. I do know that when I hit their site, I end up watching the followup videos for a long time. Dang this old memory.

You're thinking of "Forgotten Weapons" and "James D. Julia" auction which they deal with a lot.

AWESOME folks for sure and for certain.

I chuckle every time I'm watching Hickok45 pot smoking. Demolition Ranch can be a lot of fun. Nutnfancy, Sootch00, Forgotten Weapons, Paul Harrell, Ted's Holdover, NSSF, The Great War (covers weapons occasionally-awesome channel), Massad Ayoob, tnoutdoors9... Lot of good channels on youtube.

    duelist1954 and Hickok45.

They both make videos that don't show gun owners as a yahoos or tacticool goofballs.

That's exactly why he's my favorite. I can never get enough of him ringing that gong with a pistol.

Hickok45, TheYankeeMarshall, 22Plinkster, Sootch, Iraqveteran8888. These guys are funny, authoritative, entertaining, and sometimes all three. Gunblast has his own website and is very good info also.

Nutnfancy, Yankee Marshal, Hickok45, Sootch00, Aregularguy90, Reid Henrichs, IV8888, AK Operators Union, MAC, the Late boy scout, all for pretty much different reasons. I used to like Fateofdestinee, but she seems to have fallen off the last year or two. I kill way too much time on there.

Jeff Quinn at Gunblast wants you think that he's just an old country boy but he is very knowledgeable. I like his sense of humor as well. Every time I watch his video I hope his cell phone rings.

Hickok45, MrGunsnGear and TwangnBang are good ambassadors of the shooting sports. They present themselves as normal, rational people.

    I'm a Hickok45 fan as well.
He's very knowledgeable and really loves just going out back and sending lead down range. Cook guy.

What did we do back in the days before there was an internet guru to do our thinking for us?

^ We wnt out to the Range or National Forest or Grasslands and yakked with our buddies at the State or local Rod & Gun clubs.

Or we went to the book store and bought every gun book and magazine possible

Either that, or we bought every gun possibly available so we could acquire our own knowledge.

Nowadays we don't have to own or borrow a Mosin-Nagant Carbine (M38?*) to see what the noise and flash is like. We can dig up a video of it.

BTW, thanks, cooldill, for refreshing my memory* of the "Forgotten Weapons" video channel.

    Terry

    * Darned memory. Got too many of them to quickly dig up one particular one.

I bought Guns & Ammo, Shooting Times, Guns, SWAT, Combat Handguns, American Handgunner, Guns Australia, Sporting Shooter, Handgunner and a few others.

For a while I was also a member of the gun of the month club - whenever our anti Prime Minister opened his mouth about guns I would buy another. :)

So these days I appreciate THR and Youtube if I want to research a new gun. My favourites? Hickock45 and Aussie Reviews. Honourable mention to the Yankee Marshal. All of them are having fun and this makes their videos extra enjoyable.
I refer to Gunblast.com fairly regularly, but not their Youtube Channel as I need a babelfish to understand the accent. I'm aware that Nutinfancy gives in depth reviews, but he is a first class waffler and bandwidth costs money.

Iraqveteran8888, Sooch, Nutnfancy, Hickok, and Forgotten Weapons are all great channels. I enjoy Demolition Ranch and Taoflermaus a lot do to their more "let's see if we can blow it up" or "can it load into a 12ga shell" approach.
