Who else is sick of "zombies"?

Maybe i'm just a hipster in denial, but while myself and few friends used to enjoy zombie movies (especially the bad, unintentionally funny ones) and often used "zombies" as a tongue-in-cheek, inside-joke justification for our otherwise unnecessary firearms-related purchases, the recent trend in mass-marketing using "zombies" and TEOTWAWKI scare-tactics has really killed the concept for me.

Anyone else startin to feel the Zombie hate?

What should we use to get away from the trendy zombie excuse? Maybe Steve Colbert was right all along and BEARS are what we should really be preparing for? (A few recent threads here seem to support this...)

Look, there have been SO MANY "I hate Zombies/I love Zombies" threads recently that lets not do this one again.

Look up any of the threads on Hornady's ZombieMax ammo, just for instance. We've beat this poor horse to death.
