Im in the market for a NIB Saiga 7.62x39 with either the 16 or 20 inch barrel. I willing to buy it online and was wondering who yall would reccomend I look at about getting one for the best price who is a reputable seller. Im going to do a conversion on it, I already have a friend who does decent work on saiga conversions.

Nalioth may know, he's in TX.

I'm in SE WA State and the closest deal to me is Gun Peck, $400 for a 7.62x39 model..

Really that is only $90 more than my last one, not bad considering some are $600 NIB... crazy prices.

MD Willington, how come they don't bring the clear agp 10 round saiga 12 gauge mags back? I really want some of those to go with the black.

newmenu, you can bump all day, but you're not going to find it online cheaper than the $440 I already posted. Trust me, I've looked.

Let me rephrase. Gilbert's is the way to go if you want it within the next week. The cheaper places may take 6 months, and when they actually do get them in stock, the price will go way up. Anyway, this is my experience for a month of trying to find the best price on one.

I wasn't trying to slight you, nachos. I have no idea what the stock situation is at the site I posted, and it would be worth a call before ordering from them (or completely discounting the idea of ordering from them). I personally have not done business with them, but did see them recommended either here, SGW, or S-12.com, I forget which.

I will also say it took 7 weeks to get my 12, and the price increased while I was waiting, but my local dealer is a good guy and sold it at the old price.

Wow, I had no idea they were that expensive now. I paid $209 for my 16in 7.62x39 NIB about 5 years ago, I shoulda got 2.

Don't worry Geneseo, I don't feel slighted. I'm not angry at anyone, it's the situation, and I'm trying to save anyone else the aggravation of trying to find the cheapest price only to order it and then get told they will ship as soon as they are in stock, most likely June.

Get the 16". All the 20" does is add a little velocity, but makes it look goofy when you convert it.

Glad I got mine 2 years ago, paid $300 OTD at the gun show. Yikes.

Got all mine years ago when everyone laughed at them. The Saiga is crude, not really much in the accuracy department, dependable as hell but should retail for 50 bucks or less. Thought I was getting taken when they were 150 to 200. Guess that's what happens when the ship of state takes a hard list to port.
