Okay second time around.

I took all the "Other" makers in the previous poll that got more than one vote (including honorable mentions) and added them. Listed makers that got 1 or 0 votes have been deleted.

I don't see FIST-INC and why can't we select more than one?

I love FIST kydex, I have one for my PCR on the way, but I have been blown away by the rapid turnaround and awesome product I got from Comp-Tac, so I voted for them. Just started wearing my Minotaur MTAC.

Milt Sparks and Comp-tac

I like Milt Sparks alot, but when it comes down to it... I really, really like Comptac overall. Their holsters, the awesome customer service, and the number of candies I've received from them.

I own mostly Comptac stuff, so that's where my vote went.

FIST only got one mention in the other thread, and there's only room for 16 choices so anything that didn't get 2+ votes or mentions in the previous thread isn't here.

As for why can't you vote for more than one? I want to hear what you like best, not just all the makes you've been happy with. I'm just evil like that.

Rough! Well FIST was my favorite holster maker ever because of a cheap kydex metal belt clip IWB I have for my Glock 27 but my MTAC is stealing my heart away!

Though the high-end FIST kydex universal holster I have ordered for my PCR may very well tie it for favorite. I am finding I like Kydex more and more, it is so quick and easy to unholster, and it is so quick and easy to reholster. I don't feel like I am lifting myself off the ground by the belt when I use them, unlike the leather holsters I have, and though the MTAC isn't perfect in that regard, it is still a wonderfully comfortable and versatile holster. And I love that I can use it for three of my guns.

Presently, Milt Sparks make my favorite holsters. But I just ordered one from another small maker that may put that claim to the test if what I have heard about him is true.

Another thing to speak for Milt Sparks quality is that I've never met an unhappy Milt Sparks owner. Ever. If I did, I punch him because I'd know I was having a bad dream because he doesn't exist and hey, free punch.

Well, for the price and the loooong wait, they'd better be putting out quality stuff. And, they do!

Mitch Rosen, but Jim "the beltman" Speidel makes a mean custom holster these days. The elephant hide holster and matching knife sheath that Jim made for me are really fine:

I agree with Fozzy Bear Bluegrass holsters is top shelf, So "other" since it was not in your new thread/list

I chose Milt Sparks for their sixgun holsters, which I use regularly. The PMK may just be the best revolver holster in the world, IMHO, and the Summer Special works very well for me when I want to carry a longer-barreled sixgun IWB. For autos, I think there are other makers a bit better, by design.

I have a Summer Special II and like it well enough. It's a bit thick because the loops are directly on the holster itself instead of being offset to either side.
